We offer a wide spectrum of general dental
restorative services. Insofar as we are a mercury free dental office, we
offer only alternatives to older conventional silver fillings.
Tooth Colored Fillings
These simple fillings are made with cosmetic tooth colored resin
reinforced with either glass or ceramic particles for strength. These
fillings are bonded into place for a secure and retentive seal.

Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place
of silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. Unlike silver
fillings made from metals that may cause further damage to teeth, these
cosmetic fillings look extremely natural and typically require that far
less of the tooth be removed. They are also used in situations where
inadequate remaining tooth structure makes simple fillings unsuitable.
Crowns
Crowns, or caps, are used to restore broken or cracked teeth or teeth
with inadequate remaining tooth structure. The new metal-free crowns
eliminate the ugly black line you may have seen next to the gum line on
older crowns.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers offer the ultimate in esthetics. A veneer is a thin
facing or covering that bonds to the natural tooth structure. A much
more conservative alternative to crowns (caps) that can give you the
smile you have always dreamed of.
Porcelain veneers are top of the line in cosmetic dentistry. If your
teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great
way to change the color and shape of your teeth. Veneers can be a great
alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a
beautiful smile in a short amount of time. The results are simply
gorgeous!
Direct Bonding
An economical alternative to Porcelain Veneers using resin materials
bonded to the remaining tooth structure. This technique can be used on
front teeth to restore or rebuild the teeth in an immediate cosmetic
way. These materials, however, do not last as long as porcelain and may
require periodic repairs.
Fixed or Permanent Bridges
Replace missing teeth with lifelike prosthetic teeth suspended by crowns
on other strong supporting teeth.
Dentures/Partial Dentures
In situations where there are not enough strong remaining teeth to
support a fixed bridge, a removable alternative can be fabricated. These
removable bridges or dentures can be made beautifully lifelike and
comfortable, restoring a full occlusion and permitting normal function
and speech.
Full Dentures
Where there are no remaining teeth to support a permanently fixed
prosthesis a full denture can be fabricated. This prosthesis can be made
beautifully lifelike and comfortable, restoring a full occlusion and
permitting normal function and speech. The cosmetics are customized and
personalized so that you can obtain a look that matches your goals.
Overdentures
These are dentures that employ an internal retentive system to hold the
denture more securely in place. They can employ either dental implants
or remaining teeth to attach internally to the denture for firmer fit,
permitting more normal function with more stability and retention.
Implant retained Overdentures
These dentures employ a retentive system connected to dental implants in
the jawbone to hold the denture in the most secure and stable way. For
patients with little remaining bone or ridge on which the denture
usually rests, it can be a godsend, permitting normal speech and
function. Not only does it provide a more normal feel, but it offers a
psychological sense of security.
Immediate Dentures
In situations that require providing an immediate replacement for
teeth to be extracted, dentures can be fabricated in advance. They are
inserted at the time of tooth removal, but need adjustments as healing
occurs and the boney ridges remodel. The cosmetics can be customized and
personalized and viewed in advance, so that you can obtain a look that
matches your goals
Dental Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures and
bridges. They provide and ability to smile, chew and function with
confidence and without embarrassment. Restoring your smile to its
natural beauty has never been easier. Implants are basically cylindrical
or tapered titanium artificial roots, which are implanted into the
jawbone.
Implants provide the most advanced solution for missing teeth, allowing
you to talk, eat and smile with absolute confidence. They have many
advantages, including their natural appearance, improved comfort and
unequaled convenience. They do require, however, adequate bone in the
areas that are to receive the implants. If you are considering implants,
we can discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is
right for you.
The implants can support either individual crowns, multiple crowns and
bridges or full mouth reconstructions.
Implant surgery can dramatically change a person's life. The ability to
smile, chew and function with confidence and without embarrassment can
lead to a whole new outlook on life with a new sense of freedom.
Full Mouth Reconstruction or Rehabilitation
In situations where all the remaining teeth are in disrepair or badly
worn down. In situations where teeth have been missing for a long time
and the arches are no longer in proper alignment. Where teeth have
extruded or dropped down into the space where another tooth is missing
or should be. In situations where there are bite problems, jaw pain or
joint dysfunction, it may be necessary to fully rebuild either one or
both arches of teeth.
This is frequently an extensive process, but the results can be greatly
improved oral health, occlusal function, improved speech and beautiful
esthetics.

Bite Equilibration
The process of balancing the bite so that the teeth interdigitate more
evenly. It is uncommon for all 28 or 32 teeth to meet perfectly, at the same
time. These small interferences are commonly the cause of grinding, clenching,
tooth wear, tooth or porcelain fracture and tooth movement or looseness. In some
instances headaches have been traced back to these interferences.
